The Corner Farmers Market

At the corner of Walker and Elam.

Since 2013, The Corner Farmers Market has been popping up every Saturday morning from 8-11 am on Greensboro’s most colorful corner.

We are a year-round open air sidewalk market with local and regional fresh produce and foods.  We feature about 25-30 growers, bakers and chefs each week with another dozen or so seasonal vendors that rotate in and out to keep things fresh. We’ve got your basics – local and organic fruits and veggies, fresh eggs, meats, breads, and also feature specialty items like locally roasted coffee and wild foraged mushrooms. We sell food plants and seeds (SNAP eligible!) and our farmers are keen to offer advice to urban gardeners. Our market is made up of small farmers, homesteaders, and chefs who deliver the freshest possible foods right to the heart of Lindley Park each week.

The People’s Market

At the corner of Glenwood Ave and Florida Street

Every Thursday evening, from April to October, the Glenwood neighborhood shops at The People’s Market, a seasonal outdoor market of locally grown, homemade and handcrafted products. Many families in Glenwood rely on SNAP benefits to supplement their family’ food budget—the People’s Market’s SNAP doubling program not only helps out those families, it helps to support our passionate start-up vendors.  Our motto is “Keep the dollars generating in the community” and we do!

The People’s Market is open from early April to early October on Thursday evenings 5:00 to 7:30, and one Saturday afternoon a month, from November through March, in the parking lot of Glenwood United Methodist Church- 1417 Glenwood Avenue.  For more information, please email glenwoodpeoplesmarket@gmail.com.
